We are looking forward to our upcoming gourd show, May 14-15, 2011, the weekend following Mother’s Day.
Our class schedule is posted on our web site www.kygourdsociety.org and our newsletter and show schedules have been mailed. We are very excited about our classes and hope you will find many to your liking.
Our classes are unique to us this year. We have 36 different classes offered. Twenty of our teachers are from out-of-state and six are residents of Kentucky. Only eight of the classes will be offered more than once. We also have one make-it-take-it class. One of our new instructors this year is Miriam Joy Sagan, from Prescott, Arizona. She is featured in the current issue of the American Gourd Society Magazine. Be sure to check out her wax workshops. We hope to fill all our classes so our out-of-state teachers will be eager to return to our show.
